OK, let's say that you have a friend for years. And since life is a mix of meeting other people and keeping the old, you have to balance the two. Because not all people get along. So, how do you do that? I found that very tiring...
Naturally, you'll stick with the person who you know the longest, but what when she/he's the one that's wrong? Do you ignore that she/he's wrong, or do you stick with the new person, although that person is still a mystery to you?
Great friendships were broken because the stupidest things, and usually that stupid thing is a stupid man. Now, I don't mean stupid as a a-guy-who-cannot-make-a-full-sentence. I mean, stupid as a guy who is just a passer by in your life. He's not important. It's just the chemistry between two bodies that is connecting you. So, how come he is often the person that breaks great friendships which lasted for years?

Have you ever turned on a television set, and the first thing on was a song that reminds you on your lost love? And you think to yourself; is this destiny or just a coincidence? The optimist in us tells us that it's destiny. Someone is trying to show you something, the path you need to take. The pessimist, however tells you that you blew up majorly, and that life doesn't give that many chances.
 What would you rather be? The optimist? Or the pessimist?
When you look at things from distance, you can get the impression, the pessimist doesn't believe in love. Or is it just that he knows love in it's true form? The hurt, the pain...the lost chances.
Lots of songs are about happy love, but those who truly touch our hearts are always about hurt. Someone broke someone elses heart, shattered it into pieces. "...all true loves have sad endings...
